This would have also assisted in balancing trade as LPG is sourced locally.
If LPG was the major fuel, the fuel companies would have sold our production offshore and then shafted us for what they were prepared to let us use.
Just like gas. We are pushing towards being the highest producer on the planet. The current title holder rakes in many billions in royalties/taxes. We rake in bugga all because our governments don't want to upset their donors.
The people need to apply themselves like with domestic solar electricity uptake.
Our land mass looks worthy of economic conquest and our low population as easy target - seemingly
Fortunately we are good at diplomacy and small scale project management - land of the 'fair go" and an unassuming quest for achievement

To whom it may concern: some say that " a penny saved , is a penny earnt " and who does not like a pay rise ?

I went to Adelaide yesterday. One BP had 91 octane unleaded for $1.59 and 200 metres down the road a Liberty was selling unleaded for $1.19 & E10 for $1.15
I ended up filling up at another Liberty with E10 for $1.09 Cheapest fuel for a very long time.

Camberra skims AU$0.423 per Litre in fuel excise , so do not think rrp will drop much below AU$1 regardless of bulk crude
