I came through Sydney on my way back from Canberra and fuel is 113.5. Back home it was 113.9 and they accept 4cent fuel vouchers from coles or woolies.

We could have always had relatively lower cost fuel if Govt had have mandated LPG as default fuel with dual-fuel/petrol-only as extra cost option for passenger cars including SUV
This would have also assisted in balancing trade as LPG is sourced locally.

If LPG was the major fuel, the fuel companies would have sold our production offshore and then shafted us for what they were prepared to let us use.
Just like gas. We are pushing towards being the highest producer on the planet. The current title holder rakes in many billions in royalties/taxes. We rake in bugga all because our governments don't want to upset their donors.

These cents seem so important to you. I bet you are hoarding toilet paper.

It was $1.42 when I left canberra so just bought $20 thinking it may be cheaper on the way back. Most service stations where $1.39 on the way to sydney and the worst was the first few at casula at $1.67 most likely trying to catch out those who really needed it and did not know or care it was 50cents cheaper down the road.
