Prices in Victoria have dropped by over 30 cents at some places but they were at $1.49.9 and some are now
$1.18.9
Not likely to happen here as our prices always seem to be a lot higher.

Won't be happening in Canberra. According to the majors, who are the only players in Canberra, they don't need to discount. It also seems to cost over 20c/litre to transport fuel 300km up the highway.

What i have always noticed with petrol prices is if something happens to put prices up, they are up the very next day. If something happens that could make them cheaper, it takes time for it to filter through.
It will be interesting to see how much of any drop is passed on.
Mind you, if we're all in quarantine any time soon, as people seem to be scared about, we won't need to be driving too far anyway.
