i think it's for posting command codes.. so it turns out as text only, that youtube link i tried isn't clickable!

i know if you want to illustrate a command code, on most platforms it isn't possible - it'll either turn into whatever code it is or disappear

Mod confirmed it was for 'gobbledegook'.      No reason for us to have it really.

No-one on here will ever use it

So we can rest easy that we're not under-utilising our options
