Are you really that ignorant of contraceptive methods? Have you ever heard of the rythm method.......coitus interruptus?
Not that I'm necessarily recommending either of those methods.........

Maybe compulsory terminations of pregnancy for those who would have multiple children expecting them to be raised on the public purse should be considered.
We are like fleas on the world, sucking it dry. We don't need more babies over which we coo and croon.. while watching them degrade our planet during their lifetime of incondsiderate consumption.
Human babies are nothing special. we have too many of them already.
We populate and procreate at the expense of all the other species in this world who would like to claim their right to live and breathe and be free.
We limit their options.
We degrade the planet which they share with us because of our inhumane quest for personal profit.
Make more little babies who will follow our religion and who will buy our shoddy goods and be compliant little citizens contributing their small share towards those who are already wealthy beyond our wildest dreams who perpetuate this myth of the necessity of growing our economy.
To what end?
Whose needs does it serve?
Whose desires does this philosophy satisfy?
The myth is that we can all be like those who "succeed" while all the time the really wealthy expend every effort to make it so that we cannot, lest we rise to a level which would challenge and threaten their hegemony.
Procreation is really a selfish act.
or maybe it's some sort of bogan right-claiming for those who don't understand that the more consumers there are in the world, the higher the profits there are for those people who want to push their "thneeds" on us.

Compulsory terminations is a bit harsh
Don't you think
Would be better to deal with the problem
Before it got to that point
I think China got it right with their one
Child plan .
But on a world scale a two child plan
Would be be idyllic
After the second child both parents are
neutered
And live happily ever after
In the case of multiple births this would
Be an exception
Third World parents could even have a
Choice of what gender the child would
Be.
In which instance most would choose
Boys as they do and this would inadvertently
Solve the problem with this selection causing
The demise of the entire group
And this would be a solution to
Baby girls getting dumped at the tip
As happens in China

With acknowledgement of Huxley's Brave New World and a bit of titillating of words........
How about males "try the effect of arresting (primal) impulses".
And "when the individual feels, the community reels."

Oh please.
There you sit in front of your computer which was developed in stages by the genius of a long line of people who were once "nothing special as human babies" typing out such codswallop on a keyboard system developed by the inventiveness of yet others who were "nothing special human babies", sitting in a house designed and built by architects and labourers who were once "nothing special as human babies" and no doubt have a car sitting in the driveway, the combustion engine of which was invented by ppl who were"nothing special as human babies" .
I could go on but I think you get my drift.

Procreation IS a selfish act. But we need to be selfish to survive as a specie.

I could go on but I think you get my drift.
Switch these genius to Stalin, Pol pot, Hitler and I could go on but I think you get my drift. Your argument is still irrelevant to the topic.

nah. people having kids is the topic.
re Stalin, Pol pot, Hitler. Yep. There's always a negative to a positive, a yin to a yang, good vs bad, There'll always be someone that will bend human genius and innovation to evil purpose.
Are you suggesting it's the poor ppl that have the evil children and that they're the ones should be prevented from procreating?
