"KICK THIS MOB OUT"

(I appreciate that the same heading has been posted by Nero but my subject matter is different)

So the front page of the Daily Telegraph screams this headline. Not as an article but as an Editorial. A nameless editorial of course.

The editorial mentions 4 reason to kick out Labor - the boats, the economy, the budget and then goes on to say Rudd needs to go because he is  "...leader of the government that attempted to intimidate  a free media into a docile, compliant silence.".

They aren't even bothering to hide their agenda and the real reason they want Labor out. Surely not all Australians are stupid enough to fall for this kind of propaganda? Or are they?

Whilst Aussies get all huffy about supermarkets cornering the market, how come this kind of media propaganda goes by without comment. Do people not realise they are being brainwashed? Do they think it is the writings of intelligent and thoughtful analysis?

Re: "KICK THIS MOB OUT"

And lets not forget WHY he runs all these newspaper.

A history lesson for you - by 2002 he was busy lobbying the then Howard government to change the TV foreign ownership laws. He was getting nowhere. Prior to this he had no interest in supporting any political party unless they were prepared to pay for his support.

But Murdoch realised he could 'help' Howard if Howard would 'help' him. Howard was suddenly sypathetic to the idea of foreign owned media in this country - he sycophantically obliged because in return Murdoch promised blanket support for the Liberal government leading up to the 2007 election. Howard still lost to Rudd that year but not before the Liberal party changed Australian law to suit this meglamaniac.

And history repeats itself - if Rudd wins, Murdoch loses. Because unlike Aboott, Rudd won't bend over backwards to allow an american to screw him like Abbott will.
