Im sure the person doing the cheating can justify their actions. So technically yes.

Does that mean I would accept the persons reason they did it? Probably not

No, if you want to end your marriage, do that first, then go window shopping. No good comes from being dishonest.

can't argue with that.

can you imagine finding out your partner

cheated on you and justified it by saying -

i did it for us.  i had sex with someone else

so i can appreciate you more.

yeah right  Woman LOL

Some people are very unhappy and can be tempted, is it a crime to be tempted or just the acting on it?

No it cannot under any circumstances, it is a real deal breaker, a complete break of trust, love and respect for the only one in your life.  l think you should stick to the martini, least you know where that is coming from. Who knows what hubby may bring home ?

Medical or Social habit.

An emotional attachment or involvement, is already a deal breaker, and has broken the sacred bounds of your relationship.

The boat has sailed and you are not on it.  You need to rethink your whole post here, what example is this that you are giving our young people of today ?

Two wrongs, do not make a right, ......never have, and never will.   Have another martini, sounds like you need it.Woman Indifferent

Your opinion.

My opinion is that sometimes a marriage needs a shock for people to appreciate what they have. Or dont have if that is the case.

And I'd be keen to know your opinion on what 'sacred bounds' an emotional relationship breaks?

l have answered the question bob asked in his opening post.   A resounding NO.   My opinion.

l agree, that may not be the opinion of many others, and l accept that FACT.

Any emotional attachment to another party, in a sexual avenue, is already a home breaker on a couples sacred marriage bounds.

l have read and replied to the question ? put forward by bob. l wish to leave it at that.

Please refer to the post by lyndal1838 - l think that clears the air a bit.

Any involvement that harms or damages a partners sexual relationship with another, has already broken all faith and trust that was there before.  l have seen this happen in my own family, and 32 years later, things are still no better.  l do know what l am talking about.  AND NO, it was not ME, it was my sister.

My mother died of a 'broken' heart, and never got over it.  My mother lost a daughter, grand children, and others who took sides, as others do in any family breakdown.

Please do me the courtesy and ask me no questions about my 'sisters case', l did not have to share that information with you, just to explain to you, that l know the affect 'another' party coming into a marriage can have on the whole family.   Thank you.

No. That's the problem today...no morals, no loyalty, a complete breakdown of the family unit.

Infidelity is only justified to the one who is cheating.

What!!!, We're more moral now than we have ever been. If the partner doesn't know, what harm does it cause? The definition of moralty is base of harm. Loyalty is based on both party giving it as much as they can. What if one neglects the other.  Do you think couples should stay together if they're unhappy just to keep the family unit intact????
