now i see on the news there are 10 of our sports people in trouble. these guys seem to have attempted to sneak into the basketball by making fake passes of some kind.

thats blatantly breaking rules on purpose, throw the book at em, no excuses there.

Remember 1964 Tokyo Games?

Dawn Fraser went on a late night outing and tried to steal a Japanese flag from the Emperor's Palace.

She was caught, apologized, and while no charges were filed, she was banned from swimming for 10 years (later reduced to four years, but she retired at the start of the ban).

i think i may have been a little hasty there, maybe let the investigation end before i send them to prison.

What a terrific result.

Brazil win the gold in football against world champs Germany.

Brazilian goalie saves a penalty in the shoot out.

Stadium was packed, crowd roared and they will celebrate for a week.

Sooooo good for Brazil, caps off the Olympics on a positive note.

I am sooo glad they won.

Aussies are 9th on the medal tally and to finish top 10 for a smaller nation, GREAT result.
