How would you react to this scenario?
Driving along a road you see a young boy in school uniform on his way to school waving a gun and knife at passing traffic.
Would you ignore him or take steps to ensure the gun and knife are 'toys' and not the real deal?

I went out ... didn't see any TOYS GUNS for sale in the toy stores/ toy depts (apart from the water ones). Didn't see any little kids toting toy guns.
Well they aren't in the lolly section.
They are at Big W, Target, Kmart (non water ones) $2 shops and probably a number of other places.
That's where to buy them.....

Why do you keep trying to force your POV on to everyone? Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You have given yours. Over and over and over and over ad nauseum. It makes you look rather silly and just a bit argumentative and hostile to those with opposing opinions.

The decisions made by the OP don't make sense.
maybe she never saw a kid playing with a toy gun before, lol
who says it's just for kids? (shouldn't do this in traffic either)

Nerf guns are great fun.....and available everywhere....

None of my grandchildren have toy guns, my children did but they choose not to buy them. Miss 6 has a foam dart gun thing............. tranquilises her stuffed toy wildlife with it.
I have seen nothing but water pistols and nerf guns while searching for gifts recently. I must not have been everywhere

yes, I have to admit we've had some pretty cool nerf gun wars here, I think that the OH and I have more fun with it than the kids!
and water fights (best not tell the kids I actually approve of those though LOL) - we have a fair few 3/4 walls here and a loft - the fun you can have sneaking up on the kids with water bombs! LOLOL

I have to confess, I did see toy guns for sale today at my corner IGA store - on a rack with heaps of those cheap kinda toys - mixed in amongst the doll kits and craft kits etc...
