Owners of retired greyhounds abused in streets following Four Corners live baiting investigation
there you go.dogs cannot get adopted now .It is one thing to stop cruelty and another to whip up a storm for ratings and cause more suffering. If they cannot adopt out dogs they will put them down.
RIGHT! It is all 4 corners' fault now that the Greyhound Association does not uphold their principles? These people were repeatedly reported but nothing was done.
A University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine study by the Center for the Interaction of Animals and Society has found that the much maligned greyhound is rated the most docile or least aggressive canine by breed.

There is obviously coruption by club officials.WEED THEM OUT.But the point is ALSO that the people who claim to be defending animals CAUSED the the torture of animals by not acting as soon as they had the first footage.Their aim is to close down the industry and they use emotion to do it.You whinge because you say abc is being blamed but what about me?People now claim ALL of us are to blame and we clearly are not.

The more you try to defend the indefensible the more absurd your argument becomes. Animals Australia did not CAUSE any animals to be tortured theyy RECORDED it. The only people who CAUSED the suffering were the monsters who tied those animals to lures and set the dogs on them.
What do you suppose would have happened if the RSPCA and police had gone in wtith all guns blazing on the strength of one day's evidence? As likely as not nobody would have been caught red-handed, trainers who happened not to be there on that particular day would have claimed it was done without their knowedge or consent, others would have claimed the footage was either faked, photoshopped, or not clear enough to show who was actually involved.
There would have been a token inquiry, a few kennel workers would have been sacked and a couple of trainers might have had their wrists slapped. Then everyone would have patted themselves on the back, gone away and forgotten about it and the sickening practice would have continued just as before. The only difference would have been the that those involved would have made damned sure **bleep** was a lot harder to catch them out in future.
As it is, the evidence, carefully documented over multiple occasions, is not only extensive, it is irrefutable. The big names are now singing like canaries in an effort to deflect their own guilt and the snowball is growing bigger and bigger as it rolls down the hill towards the courthouse.

i think greyhound racing is a really terrible industry.
some years ago some relatives of mine owned a greyhound called Mollison Babe, she was a winnning racer. they loved this dog, she was also their pet. At some point she had puppies and someone ( they assumed it was a rival) threw bait into their backyard and poisoned them all

Oh dear God, what I wouldn't do to such people.

They called her Penny as she was a pet, and they were totally devasted . That was the end of it for them., but my point is that I see greyhound racing as a very unscrupulous industry. This happened way back in the eighties too Bright
