Re: terrorism crackdown security address

What he did was correct then.

The British repelled an invader, the Belgrano was a legitimate target, even the Captain of the Belgrano said so
After the war.

If the Argies didn't want the carp kicked out of them, they shouldn't have invaded.

The Brits should have bombed Argentina mainland, including the capital.

And apart from a few rat bags, the whole of The Uk was behind the war effort.
Even the unions stopped striking and pulled their weight.

Fridge door terror kit - $15m waste (Howard Govt)

The kit includes a fridge magnet with crisis contact numbers and tips on how to spot terrorists

Not wasted, the kids had lots of fun upcycling them into colourful, decorative, fridge magnets.

Re: terrorism crackdown security address

How can you talk about berries and terrorists in the same sentence

it"s just idiotic and ludicrous

start a new thread Tony Abbott is poisoning us with Chinese Imports

{you have a choice don"t eat this toxic **bleep** there's been enough evidence of it by now}

because I think this one is about Tony Abbott trying to save our demise to terrorists

right now there are around 400 persons of interest in Australia

last year there was 200

in 5 years time there will be 4000

in ten years time there will be 400,000

for god sake wake up to what"s going on around the world the time for apathy empathy and sympathy is over

Yes, it did kind of help. Just a little LOL

She was one of the few who had backbone to see it through.
Most of the males were spineless.

It was a hell of a time.

The Iranian Embassy siege and the Falklands showed she had the goods.
No male would have given the order that no terrorist was to be left alive but she did.

Easily, I type about the ludicrous unfairness about allowing people to be poisoned, if there is not change to the packaging labels there will only be more of it.

When was the last terrorist attack in Australia? When was the last person poisoned by berries.

The authorities have been watered down by do gooders giving far too many rights to perps
And kicking up a stink when they don't get bail et c.

Although after a few high profile killings it seems to be swinging the other way.

Thank god.

If the courts, i'e' judges and magistrates, can't or won't use the powers already given to them ithen giving them extra powers won't make much difference. and trying to shift the blame onto do gooders for the failure of the courts is simply a cop-out.

Abbott’s speech was a lot of jiggery-pokery and merde. Why did he use the word ‘could’ when it comes to stripping someone of Australian citizenship and ‘could’ when dealing with welfare payments. What is wrong with ‘you will lose your Australian citizenship’ and ‘you will forfeit welfare payments’.

What are those predicted figures based on?

Abott PM.jpg

By choosing to foster fear and division, by failing to embrace truly meaningful security recommendations such as a gun crackdown, Abbott has inadvertently exposed his weakness, not his strength.

If we withdraw the benefit of the doubt, we see a failing leader merely posturing on national security in a sad effort to hold his job.
