it was annie, the car was only a few years old when i bought it for $11,500.00
the A9X when new in 1977 was that price from the dealers, held it's value and crept up ever since
an average one these days can set you back about $125,000.00
that one pictured had original panama green paint, straight as a die

Ummm.....I didn't realise it was an ironing board cover. I thought it was a nice piece of green fabric and couldn't understand why you'd covered it with an iron lol.

ohhhhhh is that what an ironing board cover looks like.
Every few years I go ferreting through the cupboards looking for something and always get a shock when I find the iron. I keep forgetting I own one

Pimpy I found a Iron in the kitchen draw, I never iron any thing.
For some reason I had two irons, tried to sell one at a garage sale, no one wanted it, Brand new :0

Boris, my daughter collects old books and she'd love that one
Joono, what a pretty outlook you have, it must be nice when the agapanthas are in bloom too

They are not agapanthus, Deb. They are what I used to call Easter lilies but I thought Flashie told me they were called Naked Ladies. I try to use google images to check whether I had that right and got a nasty shock.
When the bush dies down around easter a flower pops up. It's like a big pink bell shaped flower and it has no leaves. Then when that dies off the plant cycle starts all over again.
