it was annie, the car was only a few years old when i bought it for $11,500.00

the A9X when new in 1977 was that price from the dealers, held it's value and crept up ever since

an average one these days can set you back about $125,000.00 

 

that one pictured had original panama green paint, straight as a die

sweet to drive

 

wish i still had it

Laney, you are right!  Luckily google says that the Belladonna Lily is also known as a Naked Lady lily so I'm glad I didn't just make that up 😄

I'm not sure Boris but possibly.  The land owners keep sheep on that property and the sheep won't touch them. They are after my Mulberry tree instead.

yep. belladonna lilles are also known as naked ladies.I love them and I have a pale pink, deep pink and a rare white one. Oddly the different colurs don't flower at the same time. always a few weeks apart.

 

but  agapthas are pretty good too  Woman LOL

hardl to tell  from the leaves alone I  love the  way belladonnas appear like triffids from the soil

Around here they are called the resurrection lily (Lycoris squamigera).  All parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested.
