This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

Something to do with pancakes?
Oh, right, Fat Tuesday... Mardi Gras.
Now I'm with you, ha ha.
See? I even did some looking up of my own...

Your little friend needs to eat quickly.....it was midnight when you posted that photo.![]()
My grandies left a couple of pancakes in the barn last night....I hope the possums appreciate them.

I hope they enjoyed their pancakes. 🙂
Poor Takeaway didn't enjoy the mozzies, last night.
She was having breakfast and she flicked her back foot a couple of times...
Then suddenly she jerked her head up, and she looked very upset - Little Peter Rabbit might have had a fly upon his nose, but I've just been bitten on mine by a mozzie!
I've found a citronella candle, which may prove to be of little use, and have been scouring the internet for solar powered UV bug zapper outdoor lights, because nothing is too much trouble when it comes to her comfort, ha ha.

When I opened the back door, the baby magpie was standing there, waiting.
I went and got a bit of bread, went back to the door and she took a step back, and to the side.
She's very courteous like that - hop out of the way, I'm coming through the door, so she does, ha ha.
Seeing the baby magpie waiting at the back door, and then me turning up, means only one thing to the wattlebird - I've got a treat for the baby magpie, which means a treat for the wattlebird, ha ha.
So it's perched on the bench, to my right, looking expectant.
The sparrow, to my left has decided that I'm moving too slowly, so rather than perch, patiently, she's going to hover, hummingbird style, on the other side of the door, urging me to bring the bread out, ha ha.
She's a cheeky one, ha ha.

Are you going to replace the top on that table? asked the bird.
Yes, bird, in time...
Does that mean getting rid of the old top?
Yes, bird, I think so.
Do you want a hand?
I don't know that there's much that you can do, bird...
So it decided to show me that it could help.
In the way that only birds can...
The top on the table is about half the thickness that it was, yesterday.
Somebody very patiently and carefully sat there peeling the plywood layers apart...
It stripped the top off the table, from one end to the other...
"I'm helping".
I dread to think what I'm going to find, tomorrow, ha ha.
