It's raining (although that wouldn't necessarily stop them, ha ha)...?

Back under the pergola, in the relative dry, and there She is... Girl Galah...
Bold as brass, more front than a row of houses, more bottle than United Dairies... ha ha.
She's managed to blend the expressions "Good Morning", "I'm really glad to see you" and "Where's the food?" into one single expression, ha ha.
Not far behind her is Boy Galah, he's a little shy, compared to her, - he doesn't think it reasonable to stand at the back door and yell at/for me... ha ha.
Last night... the little visitor possum was on the big table....
Big boy possum who, in spite of his size, and gender, is the gentlest and nicest of the possums (this of course would change in a flash if he was confronted by another adult male, ha ha) very carefully leant forward to play "sniff your nose - who are you?)" with the little possum.
"You're not my Mum!!"...
The little possum decided that the best course of action to take with this large stranger was to sit up on it's haunches and bat at his face, with it's paws.
Not really a friendly and welcoming gesture... ha ha.
The big boy sat up and held his arms out to the sides - "Look at me, I'm very big, and this is a defensive gesture, and you really shouldn't be hitting me because it's very rude, little possum...".
The little possum did what little possums do best - it turned tail and ran, leaving the big boy possum sitting on the table thinking about the decline in good manners in the youth of today, ha ha.
