This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

Dom, I'm good. Don't worry. Or do worry, or panic buy, it seems to the be "In" thing to do, nowdays, ha ha...
I'm the same old me - plodding, dependable, disappears without a word every so often, worrying the daylights out of everyone, ha ha...
And still reeling out the whimsical animal anecdotes, let alone the bad puns, ha ha...
Speaking of... ha ha...
Mother possum got up and made a bee-line for the platform just down the bridge, where breakfast/snack lay waiting...
Little See hovered in the house doorway - "I'm not coming out... The World is still too big for me to venture into it, confidently...", ha ha.
Mother had some snack/breakfast, then picked up a piece of bread in her mouth and carried it back to the doorway...
She sat down with the bread and took a bite, then offered it to See...
"I have a bit... You have a bit... I have a bit... Here, you have the rest...".
Aww, how sweet... ha ha...

I didn't mention, earlier... the butcher bird came by.
He loves sitting in the apple tree...
The apple tree has branches, moderately thick ones, and from them grow thinner branches, and thorns...
Thorns that nearly defy description... ha ha.
Three inch long, thicker than a matchstick, murderous looking things.... You could sew canvas with them, ha ha...
He sees them from a much more practical perspective - they're somewhere for him to hang his larder...
Having spotted him and said hello, I went off to get some bully beef for him.
I offered it to him, holding it up at branch level, but he wasn't too keen on that.
Must be that social distancing thing I keep hearing about, ha ha...
I put the beef down and he didn't even give me time to get away before he descended on it, ha ha...
Another happy little bird, ha ha...

I don't mind getting up at the crack of "Hang on, it's still dark..." to go running around the countryside, but finding that the lazy, entitled, worthless, but otherwise obviously cashed up have gone in, yet again, like a plague of locusts, and stripped the shelves of all of the lowest priced items annoys me just a tad.
If it's "Home brand", if it's a generic branded product, if it's marked down in price, it seems it's the latest hot ticket item...
They must've just about maxed their credit cards out, by now, and so they're reduced to buying "poor people" food in order to satisfy their greed need to fill their trolleys...
I bought myself an extra can of sardines, today... five, instead of four... ooh, I can feel the vicarious thrill of very nearly being one of "them"... ha ha.
There's something surreal about going into a supermarket and leaving empty handed because they have no stock...
It's as if hundreds of people were suddenly driven by a manic urge that they couldn't resist...
I don't know quite what to feel...
People are behaving in that way that I try so hard not to...
Somehow,it seems to me that it's not fair that I spent all those years taking the pills, turning up for appointments, following the doctor's instructions, being good... and for what?
I've made the effort to "Be of good character", above and beyond the call... and them...?
It just doesn't seem fair, somehow.
But what's the point in complaining? No one ever listens... they'e too busy checking their list of which supermarket to hit, and strip, next... ha ha.
What can you do but laugh... when tissues are in short supply, crying's hardly an option, ha ha...

Mother possum sat on the platform, on the bridge, clutching a slice of banana in both paws...
As she nibbled at it, she smiled at me with her eyes, like a Soviet era Russian...
Otherwise expressionless, but expressing so much.

I can't believe that for all these years I've been buying boring fish, and there was an alternative available all along... ha ha...

Every time I go to the supermarket there's no loo paper on the shelves...
Obviously, someone's getting in ahead of me... ha ha

Given what I am reading about treatment with antimalarial drugs - think I'll get ahead of the game & pour a large G&T.
Pleanty of quinine there.
Still no paper this end either. lol
