Big boy possum appeared, at dusk, from the front garden... Someone's been off chasing a bit of skirt.
"But that's silly, possums don't wear skirts"...
It's a figure of speech, I explained...
"Oh... Right... Yes, in that case... But a possum wearing a skirt would still look silly"...
He makes a good point, ha ha...
Meanwhile... Mother's gone up onto the roof, and See's decided not to join her, but to enjoy a short burst of independence...
She very boldly ran back to the Toffee house, on the other side of the garden, and amused herself there...
For about two minutes...
Then there was the mad dash back along the bridge and up the ramp to the roof...
"Where's mum?... There all this roof, and no mum to be seen...".
Well, little one, have you thought that she might have gone over to the tree by the roof...?
"I know! I'll look in the tree, by the roof!" She said, and scampered off... ha ha...
The entertainment never stops... ha ha...
The birds and the possums are coping well with the "crisis" at hand - The more time you spend at home, the more time we have to spend with you... Makes sense to us.. ha ha...
