ecar is your ear getting better?

very painful an ear infection , bet you have poped a few pills 

wonder if it was from all that cold wind you have been having , you do spend a fair bit of time

refilling food and water supplies outside

If the ear was running at about eight out of ten on the "Ouch" scale earlier in the week, it's settled down to a much more bearable five and a half, now...

It's definitely beanie weather out there, even in the middle of the day... The wind picks up and don't you know about it, ha ha.

Over the last couple of days the worst culprits for draining the water dishes have been the silvereyes...

Little tiny things, I reckon they're smaller than the blue wrens, but when a dozen or so of them descend, it's time to get the watering can out for a refill, ha ha.

I'm congratulating myself that it only took me a bit over an hour, today, after they'd gone to remember to give them some banana, ha ha.

At this rate it might well be the middle of next week before they get a treat, but I'm getting there, ha ha.

the silvereyes sound lovely 

we saw a thornbill on our lake walk the other day ( first one here )

it's good to see the birds etc coming back to the area after it all being leveled and built on

If I lie on one side then the sore ear's on the pillow...

That's not comfortable, to point out the obvious... ha ha.

If I lie on the other side then the ear's exposed to the air and it gets cold and that's not comfortable either...

Pulling the blankets up over my head provides some relief as long as I don't mind  my feet getting cold, ha ha.

As the old phrase goes, I'm stuck between the Devil and the deep blue sea....

The deep blue sea? I don't know about that... ha ha.

My idea of a nautical adventure is hiring a pedal boat for lazy hour spent out on the local lake, ha ha.

And the Devil? Well, if I hire a two seater then he can come out with  me.... ha ha.

I'll give him about fifteen minutes before my jokes reach the point where he'd rather jump off the boat and swim away than have to endure any more... ha ha.

"Mate, I'd never borrow money from you because there'd be Hell to pay..."... That kind of joke, ha ha.

On the whole the cockatoos and I can communicate ideas quite well...
