This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

While we're waiting for ecar >>>>>>> what a fantastic couple of weeks it has been in this neck of the woods!
I've just about finished everything now, all there is to do is (well almost) sit back and wait .. not quite that quietly, but you know what I mean ...
Christmas is well and truly on the way ... yay!! I don't like the Australian summer at all, but I know the true blue Aussies do (don't they?) Can't complain though, we did have quite a bit of snow this winter.
We're going to put a new door into the music room, the wee beasties have figured out how to get the door open .. I guess we could just change the door handle, but hey, that's a really good excuse to get an especially nice new one ... perhaps with a leadlight type glass panel, that would look different. If only they came with a leadlight of Beethoven or Bach ...
, still, can't have everything.
Until later then .....

The you-beaut two piece lock-together aluminium ladder has one shortcoming...
What brought it to my attention was my near attempt to clear a gutter.
Near attempt, I say, because the ladder is exactly two centimetres too short for the task...
Or, the house is two centimetres too tall... ha ha.
There is a longer ladder which would improve my chances of getting to the guttering...
Long enough indeed, I believe, for me to be able to climb onto the roof...
That does sound like jolly fun, but my wife will probably object, as she did the last time I clambered onto the roof and amused myself by shouting at passers-by "Hey! I can see my house from here" (Points to roof)... ha ha.
I'm okay...
