This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

Here you are, wattlebird...
A nice small triangle of soft bread for you to pounce on and tear apart.
Or perhaps not...
It's been taken by the blackbird, who came confidently, boldly hopping up the path, saying "Bugs and grubs are good, but bread doesn't run away!", ha ha.

I passed a couple of hours in the afternoon putting in a bridge between two bridges.
It's a convenience thing - it covers a gap.
Takeaway got up, and went to sniff the breeze, rather than go straight for breakfast.
No worries, she'll be back in a tic and I can show off my clever handiwork, then...
No...
She disappears off into the garden at a businesslike pace, which can only mean trouble... ha ha.
Pyrex appears, moments later, on the pergola bridge, looks nervously into the darkness and then takes off in the direction of the back fence at a little under the speed of "I'm terrified of my Mother", ha ha.
Well, I doubt I'll be unsubtly attempting to draw Takeaway's attention to the latest bit of woodwork, anywhere in the next few hours, ha ha.
She'll be right.
She'll find it.
It just would have been nice to be there, so she could ignore me completely while she rubbed her cheeks against it - marking it - "This is Mine", ha ha.

And then I could say I spoke too soon... ha ha.
If I made something for a person, they'd probably say Thanks, and leave it at that.
Well and good.
But Takeaway isn't a person.
She doesn't say Thanks...
Once...
She shows her appreciation over about three hours, ha ha.
My bridge! My bridge! My wonderful bridge!
Look! I can sit on the bridge!
Look! I can stand on the bridge!
Look! I can run across the bridge, then turn around and run back across it!
Bridge, bridge, bridge, bridge, bridge!!
I'm going to run across the bridge, up and over the roof, noisily annoy Pyrex, then run back across the roof, but not across the pergola to the bridge that's there...
No, I'm going to make a special effort to run down the ramp and across My bridge!! Ha ha.
So, overall, I think the new bridge has been well received, ha ha.

The name gives it away.
They're called stink bugs for a reason.
Father magpie's foraging around, out the front, closely followed by the little girl magpie...
She sees something and pounces on it, runs about two steps and spits it out, ha ha.
I didn't have to Google "What bug is that?", I already had my answer, ha ha.
