This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

The baby bird turned up late and sat on the roof and bellowed...
And bellowed... ha ha.
I went through the animated voice "Where's that baby bird?" routine, which seemed to work, ha ha.
He came down and sat on the bridge by the pergola.
And fluffed himself up, and glowered.
"Cold... Hungry... Not happy...".
I offered him some bread, which he nibbled, politely, then dropped.
So I gave him a piece of the other kind of bread, which he nibbled, politely, and then dropped, ha ha.
After a few minutes an adult bird landed on the roof, then walked over to edge of the pergola roof and little baby bird looked So pleased... ha ha.
Parent bird has arrived!
They moved over to a tree out the front, and it wasn't too long before the "Waaah!" turned into the chainsaw rasp, and then the whistling feeding noise...
That was my five minutes of babysitting, for the day, ha ha.
Well, babysitting a baby, anyway.
I won't comment on the rest of them, ha ha.

At one of the local shops there's a pillar where people can stick posters.
One caught my eye, as I went past - lost budgie, but that was a month ago.
If it had made it this far, and I do tend to attract the strays, then I would have been a thinker on a budgie, ha ha.
The weather man says the "apparent" low overnight was minus 8.7 degrees.
I can agree with that, ha ha.
There was a good centimetre of ice in the bird baths, the birds were very happy to see me break it up so that they could get a drink, and the braver ones have a bath.
Both old men had made an appearance by about midday, so I don't have to worry about them, and the baby bird is okay.
Both baby birds, in fact, ha ha, who are sitting out the front making horrendous blood curdling noises - "It's lunchtime! It's LUNCHTIME!!".
So, for a Winter's day, things are quite normal, ha ha.
