This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

Good morning Everything Threaders ...
The year is beginning to wind down a little, at last. There has been far too much to do but somehow we've managed to plough through it, still more to finish but hey, compared to the rest of it, it's just jello ...
I do read this thread every day and enjoy ecars adventures with the lovely critters and all the other posters who bring colour and smiles.
Somehow, we're ready for Christmas, but we have yet to pull down the rope lights in the music room (that have weirdly turned themselves sideways inside the rope casing) and replace them with a completely different LED kind.
Roll on Christmas! It won't be quite so hectic next year, but it will be exciting.
Have a great weekend everyone xx

Takeaway's pouch/belly is sitting closer to the ground, and looked as though it had formed almost square corners at the front.
I get the feeling that I shall be treated, before long, to the sight of a little possum saying "I don't like it out here, I want to go back in", and the subsequent pained expression on Takeaway's face as it tries, with limited concern for her comfort, to get "safe and warm and comfortable", once again, ha ha.
That old man bird...
I know you'll be coming out in the next fifteen minutes or so, but I'm bored...
I'm going to start wailing, piteously....
It worked... I went outside, ha ha
"Are you bored?", I said...
"Not any more", he said, "You're here...".
Cheeky, cheeky man... ha ha.

Measured the fish, more or less...
Measured the pipe...
Yeah, no worries, two fish their size will fit in the pipe with room to spare.
There you go, now they have their own little hidey hole and I didn't have to spend a horrendous amount at the pet shop for some sort of plastic castle, or the like.
Job done, problem solved...
Or so I might think...
Fish one swims into the tunnel, and lies diagonally across it.
Which means that fish two can't get in...
Maniacal laughter... ha ha.
If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed that fish can be deliberately inconsiderate, mean spirited, even, ha ha.
But they can, and are.
And I think the cockatoos can be rotten to the core, ha ha.
It's okay, they do work things out, after a while, but it is funny watching them being, well, just a little bit mean, ha ha.

Please excuse the horrendous phonetics, ha ha.
"Ak-Ha...", Spoken in a soft, and even tone...
A few seconds pass...
"Ak-HA!", spoken with some emphasis, and rising in tone at the end...
Somebody has inquired about food...
Somebody has expressed an interest in food...
Let's give it about thirty seconds... and...
"WAAAH!!".
Obviously I'm not moving fast enough with the food, today, ha ha.
Thank you, Tas for your kind comment, I'm glad that you are entertained and amused.
I sometimes wonder if they get back to the tree, at the end of the day, and regale each other with stories of "And then he did this...", ha ha.
