This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

Very tempting - already have a nice chilled glass of white.

I was standing near the end of the pergola.
Obviously I was doing something interesting, because Zoo had to come and look... ha ha.
So we had some quality time which consisted of me holding my arm up while she sniffed my jacket sleeve...
And then sniffed it again...
I must be very interesting, ha ha.
Her little face appeared over the edge of the platform, then the next moment there was a paw on the platform on one side, and a paw on the bridge on the other, and she was levering herself forward... ha ha.
She doesn't cut corners when she wants to say hello, ha ha.

I'd be at a loss to say why I had my right arm out, but I did, and that was invitation enough for the bird to jump on it, ha ha.
I suppose that holding the food in my left hand was an added incentive...
He stood on my arm and said "While I'm here... food... Don't mind if I do...", ha ha.
Having grabbed a bite, he started walking up my arm, to my shoulder, and then round, onto my back - the top of my shoulders...
I reckon it would have made a great photo... ha ha.
He started preening the back of my head, very gently, very softly... ha ha.
I don't have much by the way of "feathers", so he went for the obvious place where he could preen me, show that kind of affection.
Having preened, he moved to the right, and I quietly said that if he bit my ear I'd be really upset, but no, he was headed for my shoulder...
That makes sense... Shoulder - upper arm - forearm - food... ha ha.
No, I don't think that there was "more to it" than that. He made a friendly gesture, a hug.
I really don't think we'll be picking out drapes, next, ha ha.

I was at the shops a couple of days back and put $2 into the lock on a shopping trolley...
And not quite noting happened...
It took the money... ha ha.
But it wouldn't release the tag on the other side, so that I could take the trolley...
So, I couldn't take the trolley... ha ha.
Well, it's a matter of principle, now!
I mean, $2 is $2!
And I'm not letting a shopping trolley win! ha ha.
Out came the Swiss army knife with the pliers, and out came the coin, ha ha.
And inside I went and told the manager one of their trolleys wasn't working...
It hardly seems fair to just leave it there for the next unsuspecting person, as chances are they don't have a pair of pliers handy, ha ha.
I understand that locking the trolleys together reduces the chances of them being taken for mystery tours to the local park, or lake... but it's a pain when they jam, ha ha.
I'll sit back and wait for the MacGyver memes to start flowing, now, ha ha.
