On holiday long weekends, as the name suggests, people take holidays.
People on holidays aren't at home...
If people aren't at home, they can't feed the birds...
The birds turned up early, and ended up eating about half as much as usual...
Thankfully, the shops are open tomorrow, ha ha.
The poor things, people have gone away, so there's no regular afternoon snack on offer...
Okay, cockatoos don't buy milk, but the basic idea is there... ha ha.
I went to the supermarket and there was no milk...
I went to another supermarket and there was no milk there, either...
I thought This doesn't seem good...
I went to a third supermarket and they had no milk, either...
By now I was quite concerned...
I went to a fourth supermarket and they had milk, and I was so relieved that I bought two bottles even though I only needed one... ha ha.
They're always happy to see me, but today I think they were happier to see me than usual, ha ha.
