This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

The loo's developed a slow leak...
Not too much searching online leads me to think it's the flapper valve...
But I bet it won't look like this...
Pity... ha ha...

I heard someone shout "Err!" just a bit earlier, and thought "That's not the screaming at the possums noise.... I better go and look...
I don't know how the old man bird made it across to the fence, and into the grapevine, but there he was, climbing his way up and, to some degree, out...
Not that he'd admit it, but I think he was grateful I shone the torch in his direction and gave him some idea of his bearings, ha ha.
This is the same bird who was scared by one of the possums, one night, and took refuge on the roof...
He led me a merry dance, then, as he trekked up and down the roof line with me not quite shining the torch on him, trying ot be of assistance...
Whether or not having the torch there helped, I don't know, but finally he decided that he couldn't jump across and into one of the trees out the front, so he walked down to the bottom of the roof and sat in the gutter, ha ha.
I went back round through the house and when I got into the back yard, he was gone...
In the semi darkness, because it's never actually dark here in suburbia, he'd spied a ramp that runs over from the gutter to a nearby arch...
I had a moment of mild panic when I flashed the torch up on the gutter and there was no bird...ha ha...
But using the same mental process as him - gutter - ramp - arch... I found him, phew! ha ha.
I found him, incidentally, asleep... (Or doing a fine job of looking like he was asleep, ha ha...) "I'm fine, here... I'll be 'right... Don't you worry about me...", ha ha.
Life's not so bad with the old man birds, they have their entertaining moments... ha ha.
