So many real issues in the world but what do the socialists and labor harp on about.... tampons....says it all about labor and their socialist supporters....
I wonder why there queen didnt fix this when she ruled...

I kind of agree with that. Don't we have bigger concerns to worry about? Not that I think there should be GST on tampons.

The gst is far better than the 33.3% luxury tax that used to be on them....
and the left need to blame the democrats for gst on tampons
but it seems this is the new rage from the usuals...

Why would it just be 'the left' to blame anyone for the gst on tampons? Surely any fair minded person can see the injustice in sanitary products not being considered essential purchases.
It has been an injustice for the past 14 years and even though it dosn't directly affect me, I am glad someone has raised it again.

Incorrect.
Tampons and sanitary goods never attracted any tax, let alone the 33.0% luxury wholesale sales tax you mention. This is an Andrew Bolt furphy.
They previously fell into the medical supplies category and were free of tax.
It was only with the introduction of GST on the 1 July 2000 that they were suddenly transferred into the "luxury" category with perfumes and makeup

Nah he didn't look anything like Bill Shorten.
I would't say he rocked, but he did alright. He was relaxed, funny, genuine. Someone you could warm to.
Listening to Hack tonight, the young woman who started up the petition spoke quite quite favourably of him, and the callers also.
