To hit a target with revolver you need to be very steady. If you fire as you are being hit, there is no way you hit the target, if you are shaking you are very unlikely to hit the intended target. Not being a shrinking violet has nothing to do with being under extreme pressure in such a situation, when you know that if you miss you are dead.
I agree with much of that, having been to a range more than a few times with many diffrent kinds of revolvers. The double action S&Ws seemed to be the mose accurate, even though the Colts were uasally higer in value. You have to squeeze, not pull the trigger, with your whole hand, not your finger. how you stand make a diffrence even. that gun can mot move even a little to the right or left, up or down, you have alittle more room to play with, but if you shoot practice enough, very expensive now adays, you can stand a pretty good chance at least at wounding the gunman, increasing the odds, remember, he was walking around to the people all over the resturaunt, he wasn't holding them off, paying attention to them all.
I might have picked up a salt or pepper shaker, or napkin despenser, and threw it before rushing him. but I wasn't there. hard to say when you werent there. Suzanna was there, and she thinks she stood a chance to stop him.

Well, considering we are talking about a US Shooting, concelaed and open hand gun carry, neither of which is legal in Australia,
I would have thought you had the brains to realise that the use of the term "gang banger" was being used in a US context.

Have you do much shooting?
I believe how a person preforms under presure would be directly related to how much shooting practice they have done.

There is the argument and it's a valid one that when it comes down to the wire, when the pressure is really on and the seriousness of using deadly force hits someone in a way they never counted on. I can tell you, there are those who when it comes down to it, no matter how justifid or the danger, just can't do it, can't bring themselves to shoot another person. I couldn't, and was horrablly abused for weeks as a prisoner by some of the world's most sadistic men.
But as Suzanna said, the odds would change.

Any law anywhere, even in Alstraila, turning the right into a privlidge is not only invalid, It goes against God.
Jesus said, "Sell your garment if you have to and buy a sword" When he said those who live by the sword will die by the sword, he was talking about those who rule with a sword. To think that Jesus didn't want Christains armed is obsurd. If that the case, the no Christain could ever be a police officer, no Christian could ever be in the military, Obsurd ! Listen to Chuck Baldwin on the matter, in the video, he explains it cristal clear.
umm.Hate to say bu but you are quite off the mark. Without turning this into a religious thread and upsetting people, live by the sword, die by the sword is jesus actually talking against violence saying if you are violent that is ultimaely how you will die. It was not said as a rule but to his disciple about the disciples actions. He was telling his dicsiple to put his sword away. Perhaps its time to research properly instead of posting youtube clips and calling them gospel (excuse the pun)
