Well, if you are right about it, it means Kamala Harris will be the next President!

(that should ensure Biden's safety from assassination😉 🤔)

Gawd save us - they actuallly walk amongst us. lol

Not sure what you mean by that comment - should I be offended??

Not at all Amber - just the assassination bit.

That sums it up perfectly. All the outrage when Labor put a stop to beef exports due to animal cruelty but nothing from the right wing media about Scott's brown nosing kicking the heads of barley, wine producers. Oh and coal, timber and lobsters.
Peas in a pod that photo.Better a bunch of latte drinking socialists running the country than inept felons.

The outrage was for two reasons. The first was that the Gillard Governments action was illegal under Australian law with a court ruling finding Joe Ludwig ( Labor agriculture minister ) operated with Misfeacance while in office

  • Malfeasance is the willful and intentional action that injures a party.
  • What is misfeasance in public office?

The tort of misfeasance in public office relates to an unauthorised exercise of government powers or functions

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-07-22/government-wont-appeal-brett-cattle-live-export-ruling/124823...

The second reason for the outrage was that the ban was initiated during a long drought in the Northern Australian regions where Cattle for the Indonesian live trade where sourced. This resulted in a huge LABOR GOVERNMENT CAUSED animal welfare issue as Cattle built up on drought affected farms eventually dying or being put down by farmers as the cattle had no-where to go.

It was an example of gross cruelty caused by the erratic actions and negligence of a citycentric government pandering to a citycentric PC lobby. The result, hundreds of thousands of cattle dying of starvation. The answer was simple. Greater accountability and rigorous inspections in the Indonesian supply chain and a phased ban on live cattle exports with diminishing quota's over a period of several years to allow the industry time to adjust.

I haven't heard anyone claim the Morrison government standing up to the bully boy tactics of China is illegal. China is getting out of hand with its management of disputed territories, human rights issues, detaining Australian citizens for no reason and lack of International responsibility and diplomacy. Australia needs to stand up for its international rights or continue to have its nose rubbed in the dirt by an international bully.

As a Barley grower on the front line of the dispute and one who is taking a financial hair cut for the common good ( including posters on this forum ) , I support the Morrison Government standing up for Australia rather than caving in to a dictatorial, communist regime.

I think the courts have already ruled on who the " inept felons " are..

Re: who will win? Trump or Biden?

We'll find out who the felons are IF we finally get an ICAC with teeth. "Grassgate", Sports Rorts, Regional Grants rorts, water buy back schemes, Robodebt just to name a few.
I forgot to mention the $444 million handed out to a group of people to 'save' the Great Barrier Reef. I'd like an update on what they've done i.e what they've spent this money on, how much of it remains and if any of it was handed back to the LNP as a 'donation'.

Re: who will win? Trump or Biden?

There's too much dodgy stuff going on on both sides of the fence. If any of the LNP. rorts you mentioned go through the courts and are found to be illegal, heads should roll. At this stage the only ones found guilty of misfeacance in office by our court system are Labor.

Ironic isn't it, that it was in relation to the issue you raised in your post..........Man Wink
