If he has to dig into his own pocket to service his debts, I doubt he will be able to.
He was syphoning off campaign funds pre his election. I doubt he is in a better financial space now.
Like most things Trump, it is unlikely the stated opinion (I am mega-rich) aligns with fact.
Depending on the definition of fact.

It 's worth remembering that when after trump was elected the Republican Party controlled the Presidency, The Senate, The House of Representatives and had the undying backing of Fox news and Uncle Rupert. Now they only have the undying love of Qanon,
the Proud Boys and similar fringe and violent groups. Very easy to see why the GOP is desperately trying to divest itself of Trump and his cronies

Way too late. The time was before Trump showed himself as a menace to democracy. Which was before he was elected on the GOP's ticket.

What business is democratic ? Old habits of thoughts and so reactions are difficult to change . Without the pandemic effects I think Trump would have romped in as the economy picked up down to struggle class ; success overlooks indiscretions, however in the end there may have been other factors that may have attracted censure in influencial circles

And America is the loser. With her hanging around, the Democrats will spend most of their time looking back and trying to get revenge rather than looking forward and getting on with the job. She is a corrosive, destructive old hag who will drag the Democrats down, rather than help build them up.
Its time for America to spring clean, throw out the garbage and start afresh.
You are clueless, my friend. I'm sorry if that hurts you're feelings, but you have no idea what you're talking about here. This isn't a matter of revenge, it's a matter of JUSTICE. Trump incited an insurrection, period. He deserves to go to jail for it, but at the very least, he MUST be stripped of any chanc to ever run for office again. He is a danger to my country.

How much different it would have been if Trump after realising the protest had got hijacked by extremist nutters - all past 400+ pro-Trump nationwide gatherings had been peaceful - who had invaded the congress building with the objective of directly obstructing a democratic process by personal confrontation with elected officials - Senators no less - had travelled to the congress building and directly confronted the rabble and have them remove themselves , rather than scurry back to the White House to appanenty watch events unfold on TV

Corporate donors flee Republican Party following Capitol Hill riot, and it's only the beginning
they will be back
they support the party just not trump right now
give it a year and the donations will start pouring in again
its business, fertilise the garden you think will give you the best return
