Self Pardon - is doubtful - he can call on Pence - to invoke the 25th - meaing Pence would be in a position to - Pardon Trump - then Trump again takes ' control '.

The 25th - is only invoked - usually - when a President - has to undergo surgery - or similar - so is out of the loop - momentarily - it's a stop gap.

I think they will carry the Impeachment - hoping they have the numbers - by the 20th - The House - The Senate - & The Presidency.

The main aim is to prevent Trump from ever holding - office - again - ever - if he is found guilty.

Not really. He thinks he is bullet- and law-proof. Definitely fact-proof.

Though that wouldn't make him immune to the ongoing NY investigations into his affairs.

I'm thinking that about now he is regretting his decision to become the 'best President eva'.

Then again, Trump sent the mob into the Capitol chanting "hang Pence", do you think that Pence will be trying to safe Trump?  The FBI notified the WH about the chatter between QAnon people and other groups about exactly what they were planning (to kill people), and Trump did not beef up the Capitol security.  He watched what was going on on TV and still did not send re-enforcements.  .

So, what you are saying that Trump should be just left alone after he organized a coup?  You cannot ignore what he has done.  SMH  And you might be surprised how many Republicans will vote for conviction; many never wanted him, and they definitely do not want the possibility of him trying to run again.

You must be joking, Biden won by over 8 million, that is a landslide.  It was not close anywhere.  The reason why it looked close early on was because more Democrats voted by post, and the postal votes are counted after the ballots cast on the election day are done.

First let me say that I have great appreciation for those of you who grasp the reality of the situation here, and NO appreciation for those trying to deflect from that reality or defend Trump. And i truly appreciate those who express true concern for my family, my fellow Americans that are sane, and my country. 

  I think i will stay away from this thread for a little while, at least until my son is home safe and I'm sure my country isn't in ruins becuse of a truly evil man. He IS to blame for so many deaths, so much hatred due to politics and a complete lack of concern for anyone whose skin isn't white. He could have done so much to put a stop to so many things...
