as a Christian I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.

but those who believe in evolution are ashamed of their belief system. or more to the point would be - have not a clue of what their belief system is and who it was who formed it.

Speak to Eve about evolution. Most theist don't find a conflict between their faith and evolution. Evolution is not a belief system. It's a scientific explanation for the change in characteristic over time. If a better explanation comes along, sure I'll go with that. But the evidence for it is so stupefying it's almost a certainty. 
It's like the theory of gravity which we understand so little about I don't believe it on faith.

As an evolutionist I also dislike Dawkins. I read the God Delusion and thought it was a very basic argument and I also think he is a bit of a arrogant "rottweiler" but my life as evolution still stands.

exactly, who cares if Dawkins believes in evolution or not. Just coz' he believes in it doesn't make it true. Science is not about authority. What does the evidence point to.

complete disinterest and a lack of need/desire/motivation do not a religion make. regardless.

most of them (atheists) would not engage in these conversations. so you don't get to see them walk talk or quack. its a broad generilisation i know, but i'd say the OP is too.

It's an easy question. Do you believe that muslims and mormans believe is true or do you think it's more likely to be a myth? It's not a hard question. I'm not asking whether you should disrespect their belief.
