i will never ever give positive feedback to anyone about Ebay ever again. My case was ligitimate but you took the companies side as expected. i initially gave the wrong address but amended it straight away when I realised but you still blamed me because it was posted to the wromg address.

It probably wasn't anything to do with little people versus companies.
If it was posted to the wrong address because you had the wrong address, well no need to say anymore.
Did you change it in PayPal as that is where the seller is always instructed to posting it to.
Address needs to be changed in ebay, primary postal address which is different to registered address and most importantly in PayPal.
So if you move there are 3 to change in ebay and 1 in PayPal.
And if you are not sure, hover over account and select addresses.

You are not communicating with ebay here. We are members, just like you.
Sorry. No sympathy here. Your fault entirely.
It's up to you to update your details. The seller can't be blamed
for your forgetfulness.
edit: with 749 feedback, you should really have known better

Oh, that's how multi account holders do it. The ones that have different accounts registered in different states and yet still trade with them.
As long as your postal address is correct then you can say whatever you like for your registered address and still get your purchases in the mail.

Yes, have to agree with others. Sellers have to post to the address that you provide as you pay in your PP account. When you are paying the address is there for you to see, and there is a link saying CHANGE. Once it goes through that is that. It is against policy to send to different address. But in any case would you seriously expect large company to go searching for your parcel amongst the other thousands, just because you did not process your payment properly? Totally your fault.

And just so you know, you are not giving feedback for eBay at all, you are giving feedback to the seller or the buyer you were in the transaction with.
eBay is the platform not the provider. Sad to think you will punish all furture sellers you deal with because of your own error.

Until your post that was the only line that made sense to me. 😄
I thought that line meant feedback by way of conversation with other people about how good ebay is for buying and/or selling.
It's what follows that has me confuddled.

Was the parcel never returned to the seller? (by the residents at the wrong address where it was sent to?)
I forgot to update my address on ebay/paypal once, shortly after moving house (my fault entirely) and my eBay purchase was sent to the wrong address (not the sellers fault). That parcel was returned to sender (the seller) and I repaid the postage to the seller, to have it sent to me at my new address.
