I can deal with one day over 40, but not like this, I am sure just about everyone is looking forward to the cool change, it cant come quick enough......

We've had crazy people at the house this week. 2 young guys preparing our driveway for bitumen. They've been concreting and raking gravel in the heat for 3 days. They had today off and they will be back tomorrow to finish off. I think they're nuts, they weren't meant to start for a few weeks but brought it forward when another job fell through. I'd have had the week off!

Hope they don't have Pommy accents.   The British gypsies come over here

in summer to do bitumen.   The bitumen lasts for as long as it takes for 2 cars

to drive over it.   Current affars programs are always doing stories on them
