Laptop computer for collection only not for personal use

Hi,

Asked a seller about returns on this item(255129242297) due to yet another vague seller description in the laptop category.

Seller's reply was as follows:-

Please note this laptop is for collection only not for personal use as we have already mentioned in the listing.

Messaged back asking seller to clarify but received no reply.

Does anybody know how a personal computer can not be for personal use?

Maybe people 'collect' such items but it is not suitable to be actually be used?

Then again, I would not be buying something off a seller who insists on paying by  bank deposit or 'internet transfer'

Well, the description says it has no HDD and no power adapter. 

Maybe the seller means something like "for parts only". It could work with a new HDD and a power adapter, but it could also not work, and the seller basically offers no promise it will work.

If as you have stated, you asked about ''returns'', the description is very clear in saying that there are no returns.

Maybe your question wasnt clear either.

People collect old typewriters, so why not laptops?

Maybe that's what the seller means - a collectable, and not for use?
