that's true, staff need to stay healthy.
not everyone has family around. when my mum was away i didn't have anyone i could call on. if my kids were sick i had to take a sickie myself. thankfully i get sickies, those on casual work don't get that luxury. i'm not saying that parents are right leaving their sick kids in care just saying i understand how tough it can be. on the other hand there are some thoughtless parents who care more about themselves than their kids. ๐

speaking as a casual worker ..... I know if you dont work you dont get paid ..... but surely your kids should come first ..... especially if they are sick ....:-(
