Well he had picked one & sid the guy talked him into a "better" one that has more things ... HD stuff & a CD ripper with USB port so he didn't get the cheapest. I said just get a normal average thing that does nothing except play & record. Maybe I'll research before he goes.

Deb...lol well how about several boxes never unpacked from my move 7 years ago. Most of it is going into a yard sale this next spring. When we moved out of our big house, I had over 300 boxes to unpack.

Rose, hope you can exchange that dvr for one that records as well.

Peela, sorry to hear it's so hot your way. I've been enjoying our great weather over the past few weeks. Our weather will be changing drastically here in 3 days. They are predicting snow in the desert.

I'm wishing for some rain too.Not the flooding of course but a nice soaking will make me happy.At least those hot cook you like being in oven winds have left, you should see all the fences down in my neighbourhood today 😞

Just made some homemade pizza with the kiddies and now they are playing quietly(shock horror) in the family room. It looks like it's going to be a nice chill out day today *fingers crossed* tHank godness as I really don't want to face going outside in the heat today.

Peela, it is very rare to have snow but it happens. The East Coast is getting bombarded with snow and extremely high winds. Some places have over 3 feet of snow. The news tonight said we're suppose to get anywhere from 4 - 8 inches by Thursday...brrrr!
