donna .... had 13 toddlers today ... and yes they werent too bad ..... a few had to be kept an eye on .....as they kept trying to climb on the little tables ..... had to keep putting them back down ....but on the whole was a good day LOL

rose you will lose your heart to these furbabies .....♥ a lovely thing that you are doing for them to find forever homes :-x

Last all for the night as I'm knackered.
Yep Peela it will be hard with some. I also took in an adult ridgeback/staffy today for 5 days & she has put a spanner in the works of the whole pack heirarchy as she won't back down & neither will my 2. It's a bit crazy but I can put the 2 fosters outside for timeouts as they are used to it & my dogs get a breather.
Manageable tho - what's not is that the radiater went on my car today as predicted with a load of shopping in the boot also, what a drama. If I hadn't had all that work done I'd still be on the road! New radiator is $660 - they're trying to find if mine can be reconditioned or get me a 2nd hand. So pissed off.

cars are so the pits ...... thats why I bought the new one 2yrs ago .....cos I had just paid out $2000 to have my radiator replaced .... it was a german made barina .... so the radiator was underneath the car under every ruddy thing ....so it all had to be removed to replace it ..... I decided that it was only gonna get worse after that bill ..... so went for a loan and got a new car ....at least I have 3yrs under warranty ....and then a few more before any probs .....

Rose - ugh! Cars can drain you dry. Like Peela, I bought a new car almost 3 years ago now. Mine came with a 10 yr/100,000 warranty.

Peela, sounds like you had your hands full yesterday.

Hi everyone! Checking in. I am later than usual today as it has been a busy day and Ray took me out for dinner and a movie tonight. So, now I am playing catch up. 🙂 It is worth it though as I enjoyed our dinner out and the movie.

Our youngest hasn't come home for the weekend yet. He came down with the flu on Thursday and feels too sick to pack up the grandkitty and drive 1.5 hours to get home. I hated to tell him that the flu this year is bad....most feel under the weather for up to 2 weeks!

I was exposed to two people today (at my vet's office) who told me they have it! Not happy about being exposed when they KNOW they are sick! Then there was a sniffler at the drugstore when we stopped for my husband's asthma meds so he is probably in some stage of it too since he was buying Advil Flu! I am not a happy camper. I've only ever had the flu once in my life and it was the only time I had ever gotten a flu shot! I better not get it now!

Ok. Off to finish up online as it is already 1:00 am here. Night everyone!
