Hi everyone!

I am nervous about Dexter. He's at the vet's today. Normally it would be a very tiny op to desex him but the other day I noticed a lump on his side which was much bigger by today & I got authority to tell the vet to do whatever was necessary while he's still under the anaesthetic. So I HOPE it's just a bite or a small infection from something & doesn't need slicing. I'll find out when I pick him up in about an hour!

Morning all

Last week of school holidays here. Promised the kids i would take them to the movies during the holidays so today we are off to see 'Tangled'.
Had a check up yesterday and all is well. Next month i have a check up at the hospital and, due to my tailbone, my Doc is recommending i have a caeser. Am a bit scared about that.
Kitchen is coming along slowly. Gotta go oven shopping this weekend.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the well wishes with Belle. She is doing well but I guess she scared them during surgery. She had turned blue because she wasn't breathing. They say they won't want to do surgery, even a dental cleaning on her, unless it is totally unavoidable. She is moving along very well and the site looks like it is healing well.

Rose, that is exciting news about Dexter having a home but I am waiting to hear about the lump you found. Hope that it turns out to be nothing.

Amy, I had a c-section and it wasn't bad. Try not to worry about it; just think about the end result. When you hold that little one in your arms, you will know it was all worth it. You sure don't want your tailbone re-broken during delivery.

another busy day .... had 37 kids at 8.30am .... 😮 ..... jeez when I got to work at 6.50am this morning .... there was a mum waiting to drop her missy off ....:O ..... cripes didnt even get a chance to put my bag down before she dashed off .... really annoys me when they do that .... we dont open till 7am ....and yet they just dump and leave .,..... most places if I open I lock the door until the opening time .... cos we arent covered by insurance before the opening time .... but people dont think about that .... **sigh**

never mind a day off tomorrow for Australia Day .... woohoo! so that makes up for it 😉
