and nope didnt get any time to relax as the girl arrived at about 6-15am ...and then it was inside and opening it all up , turning on lights ready for the onslaught at 6.30am ๐ฎ

Peela, we're getting hit pretty hard tonight with rain. We so badly need it so I can't complain.
My digital rain gauge works but it's not keeping accurate measurements. My aunt calls me to find out what mine is reading and then she'll tell me what her old fashioned gauge reads. I will probably end up buying one like hers.

Well the past few days, I seem to be an early bird in waking up. I'm not liking this at all. ๐ I'm a night owl but this early morning hours is the pits.

I reckon the older you get .... the more you lose sleep ...my mum who is 80 ....sleeps hardly at all ....awake all night ...
and I find trying to sleep during the week ...is not easy I tend to sleep very lightly ....its as if my body clock is afraid its not gonna work ....so wakes me up regularly during the night to make me check the ruddy time .... very annoying ....and sometimes I wake up more tired than when I went to bed ๐
Im hoping its not something that we all have to go through ... **shudder** .... couldnt stand being awake all nite and not really relaxing .... Im also a night owl ....LOL ....as you can see by my posts .... its now 12.46am here LOL .... I should have been in bed agessssss ago ๐

another rainy nite ...anbd some this morning .... got the obligatory pond in the backyard ..... the furbabies have to tiptoe through the water to get to the higher part of the yard when they need to wee-wee ....:^O ..... hilarious to watch them .... you dont really imagine that a dog can tiptoe ๐

Hiya Donnaโฅ and Peelaโฅ sorry I've been AWOL I've ha extra shifts at work and hannah has been pretty sick the last couple of days so I've had my work apron on and my nurse's cap on my haed.
Thank you letting me know I have tags to pick up I'll be over there tomorrow if things go to plan ๐
I just put the washing out thinking yipee the sun is shinning but now the sky is dark gray and the rain has come(lucky I hang all my washing in the garage ๐ but it does have an open space where the rain/sunshine can get in )

Well it's just after midnight here. We went out for pizza then headed out to where hubby works. We were going to play some darts but a dart league was using all the boards. Hubby decided to bet on the dogs for a few hours.
Peela, usually a couple of times a year my sleep patterns get all messed up. I would hate to think this is what we all have to look forward to as we get older...ugh! I think my problem now is we may need a new mattress. I wake up after 5-6 hours of sleep and my side is killing me. I was up at 5 a.m. this morning but I did manage to fall back asleep around 8:30 for a couple of hours.
Hope you ladies are having a good weekend.
