I am all ready to go just having a quiet morning then hubby will come home from work at lunch to take us to mum's then off to the airport this arvo!!!

Aww I missed Le-Anne posting.
Peela, hope your daughter loves her new camera. Your train system must be rather safe and nice. We don't have anything like that here. They have the subway system on the East coast.
Well I had another busy day yesterday. We're still doing repairs on our shed. I drove our friends truck to buy some lumber while the guys worked on the shed. Later in the day, they decided we were going to need 2 new panels of the siding. I had commented earlier that I didn't think they could salvage some of the old ones but you know men. ๐ I'm hoping we'll get everything done on Monday. It's too bloomin hot and muggy out to be doing this stuff.
Last night we decided to take a road trip to the casino. Just love that long drive....not! As soon as we got there, we went to the buffet and ran into several friends from here that had the same idea. Well hubby wasn't as lucky last night but I managed to win $50 so I was happy.

ahh yes men ... they know everything ... dont they ... well in their dreams they do B-) .... you should have just waited at the shop for the call ....save on petrol ...LOL
hope they dont take too long to get it all fixed for you โฅ
our trains are pretty good ... they do have guards on them ... they look like policeman ...but dont have the same powers .... and they get on and off at different stations ...so you dont know where or when they will appear... we also have cameras on all carriages so if you do anything youre captured on camera .... which is good also ...
the trip she did is a very long one .... as the place is miles from where we live ... she had to wait for the train ....catch it into Perth (our capital city) ...then wait for another to bring her out to where we live .... up to 2hrs travelling ....
but she uses the bus, train, train, bus to get to work every day .... it takes her about 1.5 to 2hrs for that trip .... on thursday nites she doesnt finish work until 9pm .... so catches a taxi home ...as they buses and trains are not as frequent at that time of nite .... but it costs her between $50 - $60 for that trip ..... a lot ...but at least she is home safe a lot quicker ... โฅ
Im home as they cancelled my booking on friday when I rang to find out my shift ... grrrr will talk to her about that on wednesday .... cos she cost me other work .... but thats all I have this week ...at the moment ...and I dont really care LOL .... a few days off will probably do me good ๐

Peela, well our friend and my husband definitely don't work too fast...lol. I helped him for 4 hours on Friday and ended up helping him a couple of hours on Saturday. After we all had lunch Saturday, my husband conveniently had a bad headache so I ended up helping our friend. I'm hoping they get it all done tomorrow. I have a hunch that I may get pulled out there tomorrow because I just remembered we have to pull a bunch of the stuff out and some shelving units. He's going to be making a cutout on the wall of the shed to make a door.
Oh wow, that is really great they have guards on your trains and cameras. That has to be a big plus and a sense of security for everyone. That is really a long commute for your daughter for work and for the roller derby. Good thing she doesn't mind paying the fee for the taxi; at least she's home safe and sound like you said.
