well not a happy camper tonite ... ๐
got home at 7pm ...turned on putas ...and found an email saying I was sitting at 47GB of my 50GB limit ...and its only 5 days into the month ๐ฎ .... logged in and checked the usage ...and apparently we used 11GB today .... and we werent even home between 9am and 7pm tonite ... X-( .... some dirty rotten weasel has been using our internet since 30th August .... and in that time has used a total of 58GB of my paid for internet X-( I am livid I tell you !
we only ever have used in a month 28GB .... and thats all ....never ever been close thats why I got the 50GB/mth limit so we would be fine ... :_|
it appears they managed to unlock my modem ... it was locked but not password protected ๐ which we thought was ok...it being locked and all :_|
I rang service provider ... and they helped my lock it with a password - I made up on the spot .... and when I asked about the limit .... seeing its only 5 days in and ours is almost gone ...and he informs me they have new plans out ... and for no extra money I can get an upgrade to 100GB .... so my month will be okay ....
but still not the point ... bluddy lowlife ....I hope you get yours pal X-(

Peela!! Oh geez, I'm so sorry that has happened to you. I agree, some low life with nothing else to do. My mom and I are firm believers that those who are mean spirited will dearly pay one day. Oh I do hope you can get loads more data usage for the same amount and no additional charge.

well got a message from my ISP this afternoon ...telling me that they had changed my plan to 100GB and at not extra charge ...as they have just released all new plans ....so I pay exactly the same as I did for the 50GB .... and it was put on straight away ...so no waiting .....so technically Im back to scratch .... seeing as the mongrel used 49GB of my 50GB for this month in 5 days :_|
I wish I knew who it was .... they said its gotta be a neighbour for them to pick up the signal ... X-( and I still cant see how anyone can use 60GB in 7 days ... thats what the usage was that was wayyy above our normal usage ... one day they used 13GB ... ๐ฎ .... I doubt I could even get close to that even if I downloaded heaps of nonsense ....
good news is that when I got home ...I checked the usage ...and it was at 27mb .... so virtually nothing ... which means I have blocked this creep from using it ....hoping nothing more happens to mess us up again ...

Peela, I still can't imagine someone using 49GB in 5 days. Must of downloaded a whole bunch of stuff or maybe had their friends over and they too downloaded stuff...geez! Would of liked to have seen the look on their face when they could no longer suck up your data usage.

yeah Im gobsmacked at the size of usage in such a short time ... its astounding ... hopefully no one else will get used like I did ... ๐
for the last two days Ive dashed in and checked on the usage LOL .... a bit paranoid I think ...but all good ... only used about 300mb yesterday ... our usual amount .... and not much today either ... so looks like its working fabulously ๐
I gotta say it was so nice not getting home in the dark ...yesterday .... tonite was horrible .... all dark and cold ... coming home to a dark house ... not my ideal nite ... but only 2 more days of that ...and then hopefully Im on the early shift all next week ....

oooh how exciting for them .... would love to be a fly on the wall ... totally bizarre when you think about it .... two women on the opposite side of the earth .....meeting up .... due to befriending one another on a computer .... imagine if someone came from the past and saw that scenario ...they would be totally in awe of such an event ... :^O
I hate it when you wake up early and cant go back to sleep and you dont need to be awake .... really annoying ...
my boss just messaged me ... to ask if I could do an early tomorrow if need be ... apparently her foot has swollen up and she cant stand on it ... she is hoping it goes down by the morning ... but wanted to know if I would do it if she cant ... told her no problems ... she can ring me anytime .... said Im up at 4.45am when on earlies ... she gets up the same time ... so will let me know in plenty of time for me to get ready ...if she needs to swap me over ... cant say I wont love being on earlies LOL ....
and yes she did the roster today and Im on earlies all next week WOOOOHOOO ! ....
well had the dreaded shopping tonite ... after getting fuel on the way home .... so will head off to bed now in case I get that call ...

Peela, that would be mind boggling to my grandparents. They both died in the 1980's before computers were around. It is pretty amazing what were able to do these days.
