Le-Anne/Peela - having to deal with the general public is a royal pain. Like you mentioned, people think that you're there for fun and you shouldn't have a life outside of the job. Their business should be the most important thing to you. Ohhh but you gotta love the seniors when dealing with them. They are truly special...LOL.
Well my mom and stepdad are coming for a visit today. He's offered to finish the door for our shed...yeah! 😄

oooh donna lucky you .... you know it will be done properly ...cos the older generation do things right .....;-)
yeah LOL ...funny you should say about the seniors .... when my mum turned 80 in july .....she said ....'now you all have to do as I say , never correct me cos Im always right and do everything for me ' ....... she was of course joking ....cos she has friends who expect to be treated 'special' just because they are older .....
one of her pet hates is that older people just go to the front of a queue and expect everyone to just let them do it ... 'cos they are old' ...... she says I dont think so ....you wait in line like everyone else ♥
she is totally independent and says they need to wake up to themselves ..... they dont deserve any special treatment cos of the number of years they have been on the planet .... LOL ....she gets a bit cross about it .....gotta love her attitude !
well went to bed with a scratchy throat .... tossed and turned all night ...... :_|........ coughing and moving to alleviate the pain in my hip ..... and then I just couldnt stand it and got up just before 8am ...... with not much sleep had ..... so over getting colds off the bluddy kids at work .... I liked it better when they were sent home when they had snotty green noses (blerk)......:-(
so a day off and Im feeling pretty yuck ! ... hoping the cold is a quick one and disappears quickly ..... **sigh**

donna .... we had 27 today ... and not too badly behaved to be honest .... mind you we spent most of the day outside ...as it was a beautiful day .... ♥

Peela, oh the door works wonderful. There wasn't that much that needed to be tweeked to make it functional...LOL. I just don't have the patience when it comes to working in the heat and humidity. Of course now, we're having Fall temps and there's no humidity. It never fails we always wait until it's the worst time to do stuff. 😄
That's great the kids were able to go outside. They can burn up some of that high speed energy. 🙂
