hey mim .... yes the weather is indeed odd .... today was warm ....but tonite the easterly is blowing up a storm .... and its cooler .... and from what Ive heard we could get a cool change on xmas day over here in the west ..... who knows .... its usually hot as anything .....and we have all the aircons cranking up a storm ....

Things are frazy over here with my boss chucking  a sickie for 2 weeks in a row Calls me 10 pm the first tme can't work for 3 days doctor forbids it WTF then this week her hubby calls me at work 5 minutes before my shift ends doctor forbids her to work another 3 days hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nice way to score 5 day weekends 😞 all over a sore throat too I smell something very fishy there 😞

Working today aswell then coming home to crash!!!

I'm so sorry I haven't been in but I kept getting a IE blank page saying connection problems for a couple of days but only when I tried to get into the forum not happy grrrrrrrrrrr

gee le-anne .... your boss does sound a tad fishy with her long weekends .... you should tell her you need more notice than she is giving you .... as you have things planned that cant be changed X-( ....pretty rude cancelling just before you finish your shift ... I would be very pee'd off with her .... she ovbiously doesnt care about your life .... thinks hers is more important ..... and if youre sick you know more than the night before or just before the other persons shift finishes ..... she sounds like a lazy cow to me ... and she knows that you will do it .... cos youre a nice person ..... get ya narky pants on and sort her out .... tell her you need more notice especially at this time of year and with 2 children and a husband to plan around ..... 😉

well off to have a shower .. then off to perth .... for the wander around the streets .... doing the 12 days of xmas trail .... then having lunch somewhere ....with a friend from our kids kindy days .... 😉

le-anne ... if you were considering doing the '12 days of xmas trail' ......dont bother .... pathetic ...totally .... nothing to see .... walking all over perth .... just to see a window painted or something in the window ....nothing spectacular or interesting .... 😞

very disappointed .....

then we went to art gallery ..... **shakes head** ... how most of that in there can be considered art is beyond both of us .... there were some disgusting pieces that offended us both .... (friend is same age as me - our kids went to kindy together) ......some we couldnt see how they were art .... one example :

a piece of branch .....about foot long (30cm) .... and up the top a little branch off the side in a Y shape .... painted brown .... and two whit dots where eyes would be ..... 😐 ....... please explain how that is art .... kids at work could do better than that ..... in fact Im sure I saw some artwork that even the kids would say was scribbling .... 😉 ....... the art buyer is obviously blind or has no clue what is real art !

we saw a couple of beautiful pieces ... but the rest ... utter rubbish !

well off to bed for me .... sounding like a drag queen again ... due to another cold 😞

Wow! Ive not been here for ages...who messed up the boards lol

anyway, Ive a favour to ask...

Our darling Nana passed recently and I was just looking at the memorial page Uncle has done for her. There are some lovely messages and such there, but I thought something pretty would look great up there too...

So would someone mind having a go at a tag/graphic that would be suitable for her memorial/tribute page? an RIP sort of thing?

just some extra info, Nana Loved gardening, sewing, knitting and cooking. ...pretty, soft spring colours might be nice...just something to brighten up the page iykwim. perhaps about 400 to 500 pix ??
