Evening Ladies!
Big excitement on the street tonight. Our neighbors across the street had a little chimney fire and someone called the fire dept. It was basically out before they got here. There were 2 big trucks and 3 volunteer vehicles. So that was out entertainment for the evening.

Peela: AAwww....all those nappies to change for the cute bubbies. Those "pull-ups" are much easier for the older ones, of course.
Yes, I also used those cloth nappies on my children as babies, for a while.

Donna: I love that diaper cake! You did an excellent job. Looks like a lot of work!. It came out fantastic.
Mim: There's was no major damage done in the fire. It's not an uncommon thing for people to have chimney fires when they burn wood for heat. If they don't keep the chimney cleared of the creosote, it's bound to happen. They usually burn themselves out. It's still danagerous as any fire would be. I can't believe that so many fire people showed up.
We got a few more inches of snow overnight. Chris has found that if he uses a bungy cord to keep the augers turning on the snowblower, he can clean the driveway with just 1 workable hand! UGH! There's no stopping him!
