It's monday yay!!! Start of a brand new week and a brand new schedule of business.
Aussie peeps have any of you or anyone you know been to the australia zoo(steve irwin's zoo for our OS ladies) My kids love bindi irwin so they want to go there to "meet" her fat chance she would be there I told them and if she was we would probably have to spend extra $$$$ to see her show(if she still performs).
Reason I ask it will be a long drive from the gold coast to go(we will have a hire car) and alot of $$$$ to spend the day there.
I kinda freaked out when I checked out how much it was I think disneyworld was cheaper for the day!!:O
I'm getting to the nitty griitty of my planning for the holiday very exciting but wont actually be enjoying it till the september school holidays lol
OK going to drop my very excited lil munchkins off at school(zac with his excusion/Hannah looking forward to special lunch to raise money for the school band they get a sauage sizzle and drink yee haa)
I might have a few minutes to have a quick play online then it's off to work to cover the lunch shift.
Going to be singing ♫she works hard for the money......... so hard for it honey♫ all shift today as I can see it's going to be a painful one today yawn!!!

Le-Anne- we went to Aust Zoo. The chance of Bindi being there when you go are very very slim. The Zoo was very nice, the grounds were lovely and the animals were very very well looked after, but it is very expensive to get in.
They have elephant feeding time each day was was great. So the visitirs get to feed the elephants. Ive never been that close to an elephant before.
My kids enjoyed it as did we, but it is just a Zoo and, apart from the elephants, has the same animals near all other Zoos have.
For the cost and the extra drive it takes to get there......i wouldnt go again

Thanks for your advise about the zoo I'm thinking of going to one closer and saving the dollars but I guess I'll go with what the kiddies have their heart set on if they REALLY REALLY want to go I might as well seeing we wont be back in a long while.

Doing a fw loads of washing as tomorrow i"m going out with a friend for cheap chinese and wednesday is mike's mum's funeral then 2 days of work all day joy joy joy!!!
I was going to make mini zuchini and ham quiches/muffins but I don't know if I"m feeling the love from my kitchen today. I might go have a long showerand see if I feel a spark of energy then 😄

back this afternoon ..... still on melbourne time ... its 3hrs ahead of us over here in the west 😮
wedding was pffft ..... dont wanna bore everyone with the details ... other than saying the bride was a rude cow ...who didnt even bother to speak to me or my mother .... considering we are the grooms only family .... and he had a total of 4 family there .... us and his mum & dad .... X-( ..... she preferred to drink, smoke and dance with her friends .... oh and she took her bridal shoes off as soon as she could and put on some black thongs ... flipflops for those who dont know our terminology ..... but we still had a good time - together ... and the groom was rapt about our being there ....
oooh and the speech I was supposed to do on behalf of the family .... it never happened ... she decided she didnt want me to speak ... so only her dad, the best man and the groom spoke .... luckily I didnt spend hours writing the rotten thing .... but no matter .... their loss 😛

we did have a lovely day yesterday .... friend off CW ...who picked us up at the airport ..took us for a tour of melbourne .... all over the place .... went to the victoria markets ...and all the special places of note.... then picked up her hubby and went to dinner ... was a lovely day and nite .... then they dropped us home ♥
glad to be back home though .... staying in a motel just isnt the same as being home 😉
now no more trips (that I know of) 😮 ..... until maybe next jan/feb .... we will see 😉
