My brother uses the Veteran's Administration (V.A.) Hospital since he's a vet and can't afford insurance. For what udderly ridiculous reason the lady doctor gave him....she was afraid she'd hit the metal in his artificial knee. X-( My mom said he's got a doctor's appointment today so hopefully someone else will drain his knee.

We've got one huge storm that is covering the western half of the U.S. We've got cold temps, rain, and even snow. So far, we've only had some snow flurries but the day is early.

I shake my head in disbelief at how people without insurance just don't get medical treatment in the US. When I went to florida last year and talked to some locals my eyes were opened up at to how tough the average person(just like me) does it over there from the schooling(kindergartens not opening because of funding so the kids don't get to go to school),wages,medical and even getting a bank loan.All the things we take for granted as essentials and our right to have 😞
Makes feel very lucky and priveledged that I may not be swimming in money but I live in a country that allows me to live a "comfortable" lifestyle 🙂 Still have to get off my butt to work for what I've got hahaha but you know what I mean 😉 Now if we can get our dental costs streamed into medicare that would be the icing on the cake.

went nappy shopping earlier and came home with nappies, a new handbag and a pair of shoes for Hayden.
Am busy cleaning and tidying house this week in preperation for my Uncle and Aunt arriving next week. They are from the UK and i havent seen them for 3 years. They are staying with us for 10 days. I cant wait.
