Happy Mother's Day to everyone!
I have been quite busy in a FB buy sell search for group. I am one of the admins and we made a big move off the fb platform over to an app called VarageSale. It's really awesome. We had about 9000 members in our FB group. A lot were inactive though. We have going on 1200 that have moved over to the new group right now. I have been making graphics for the group, answering questions and so on. It has taken up a lot of my "spare time" this past couple of weeks. Our group is only for people that live in our County. Maine has 16 Counties. Ours being Aroostook with a population of around 72,000.
I hope you all are having or had had a great weekend. My soon to be son in law had a graduation party yesterday. He and Huntley are all moved in and getting settled. Our driveway looks like a used car lot. We have Mine, Chris's, Shannon's, James's and also Jame's work truck......crowded. LOL. It's ok for now because we can move Jame's pick up off to the side because he will be using the work truck mostly but winter will be more challenging.

im thinking my puta may need to go into the shop for an overhaul ....it's being a bluddy pain...

I hope everyone is doing well. It's been a busy time for me with a house full now. It's interesting with everyone living here now. haha.
We have to go back to Boston on Friday for another visit with Shannon's specialist. We'll see what he says about getting her hernia fixed and what will be the next step for meds.

Happy Memorial Day!
We had a good trip to Boston. Shannon has been having migraines as a side effect of one of her meds. She does not want to be taken off it as it seems to be working for her at this time. They gave her a migraine med to see if that will take care of them so she can continue on with her meds. She said she'd rather live through a bad headache than have her colon removed because she stopped taking a med that is working. So hopefully this will work. We are also going to get in touch with her surgeon to see about taking care of repairing her incisional hernia. We would like to get that taken care of asap. Her blood work is still improving and she's feeling good so we seem to be on the right track. We go back to Boston at the end of September. She will have blood draws every other week for the next month then once a month for a while then every 3 and so on if things stay improved.
It was Huntley's 1st birthday yesterday. He got to go to the Tractor Supply store (they have a lot of dog supplies and they let dogs shop) and he picked out a big bone. Then they took him out for a birthday ice cream. Then he was in an ice cream coma for a while LOL. I think he had a good day ๐
Hello all .....still can't load the boards on my puta grrrrrr .......I'm pretty sure it needs a major upgrade. As it won't load a lot of other sites as well... I type the URL in and it just attempts to load ...but the whole page is still blank ...I've left it and come back 30mins later and it's either still going or tells me there is no such place **rolls eyes** what the????
rosie glad to hear Shannon's meds are good but not good about the migraines...lets hope they can find a way to sort it out for her..
LOL at Huntley being in an ice cream coma LOL I've seen that look on my girls faces from time to time ๐

I know I have been awol! I was on vacation all last week. Started out with my nephews wedding and a little family reunion then off to New Hampshire for the week. My MIL and little BIL joined us. We had a blast. The weather was perfect. Visit from a mama and baby bear at the timeshare. Chris got photos so I will work on posting some. Great week!

I've been quite busy...actually too busy. The first week of June, Don and I and another couple zipped off to Laughlin, Nevada for Don's birthday. Had a great time. Well we're heading off again to Laughlin but with 7 other people. We'll be gone over the 4th of July for a few days.
In the meantime, I was busy trying to get estimates to screen in our back deck. Geez, one company showed up and took measurements but never got back with us. It's been a month and we've scratched them off the list. Another guy wanted an outrageous amount and my third guys rate was just right. We've decided to go with him but we're still waiting to be fit into his schedule. I'm hoping sometime in the next week he'll be able to start.

hmmm well finally managed to get in again .... they have been changing things for the last couple of weeks .... not sure I like the new look at all ..... not that I can change things ..... I just wish they would leave things alone ...... dont fix what aint broken !!!
ok .... hope everyone is well ..... Ive had another cold .... surprise surprise LOL ..... but had my flu jab last weekend to ward off any other nasty flus that decide to invade me .... ๐
had an odd day off this last week .... and was booked for next week ..... got cancelled on thursday afternoon (lack of kids - so not needed) ..... but by 10am friday morning I was booked again for the whole week between two centres LOL .... and just as I was thinking I might get a week off work .... hahahahaha ...
donna .... dont you hate it when you get a quote and hear nothing back .... why did they come out and do a measure if they didnt wann do the job in the first place ....
