We're more than a day away from Christmas Eve. I'm ready tho, got everything I'm gonna get, wrapped & under the tree, got fixins for Christmas dinner, having it at home this year. Had it at moms for the last 16 years. I'm ready to see the grands, don't see them much anymore, they're 10 & 7 now. I miss them.

We are pretty much on track. We're having lunch at Mum's and I just have some cooking to do tomorrow - making a caramel tart, coffee icecream (for my Dad) and a Tzatziki dip because we seem to have more cucumbers than I can cope with thanks to all the rain we have been getting lol. Our family really only do presents for the kids now and we (all the adults) put in some scratch tickets to a big family pool hoping we will strike it rich one day. Usually we manage to win enough to buy a few lotto coupons that don't win anything either :^O

I'm so very tired & fuzzy in the head. Got back from grocery & Xmas shopping & put all away then rang vet. Max has come out of anaesthetic well, surgery went well - will find out when I pick up in 1/2 hour & talk to Sam, what his prognosis is.
