Hi everyone! These 2 jobs have been keeping me quite busy. Seems strange to be back in the working world after over a year of not being in it! My little job with my sweet lady has kept me extra busy this week. I have had to do grocery shopping and I took her to a dentist appointment that was 2 hours long. So a few extra hours there. I don't mind though...she's a sweetie and it's great pay!!!
Shannon is feeling ill again. She is scheduled for her colonoscopy on Wednesday. They think her gall bladder is dumping bile too much and too quickly into her colon which has caused her trips to the bathroom to increase to 10 to 15 times a day. That's all she needs is to have issues with her gall bladder on top of everything else! Jeez, the poor girl can't catch a break! And she cause a stomach virus from the 2 boys she babysits. UGH!
Zuffy: Thanks so much for my cute tag!!!
Mim: I understand how you feel about the tags. Donna is right though. I know for myself, I always love getting tags but can't make it in as much as I would like. I know Le-Anne is having computer issues and all she has to work with at the moment is her phone and they don't handle the forums very well. Emailing the tags is a super idea though! It works great for me when you send them that way. You just do what's best for you and we will all understand.
From the Facebook posts, it looks like Peela is having a wonderful time!!! Lucky girl. I will be having some tags for you all pretty soon....catch up with you all later xo

Good Afternoon!
Mim, I was going to save my tag from you but it's no longer there.
Rosie, sorry to hear about Shannon. Sure hope they find out what's wrong with her.โฅ That poor girl needs a dose of good luck. It's good to hear you're enjoying your jobs.
Zuffy, I've contacted Amy, Peela, and Le-Anne. Amy said she'd be in here sometime this upcoming week. Peela has asked if you could hold onto any tags of hers until she gets back from her trip around February 18th....thank you. Le-Anne said she is hoping her computer will hold up long enough for her to stop in here. Hopefully she'll be here in the next day or so.

Hey Ladies,
I was wondering if somebody is able to help me. I've got to make some new business cards and the image I want to use is pink on a white background. I want the white background to be cut away and the background to be the same colour pink as the rest of the image so when I add it to vistaprint the entire background comes out pink.
Is anybody able to get rid of the white for me? I used to be able to do this but I have completely forgotten. It's VERY easy as it's mainly straight lines.
This is the image.
Thanks HEAPS.

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! We are getting more snow here....I am so over it...I want spring!
Well we are headed back to Boston on Friday with Shannon. She just can't seem to get any better. She had her colonoscopy and it showed a lot of inflammation....no surprise there. The meds she's on are not working at all. It's very frustrating. Poor thing can't catch a break at all. She is just feeling so sick and worn out. She's going more than 15 times a day to the bathroom.
Check back with you all later xo

Ohh thanks Amy :-x. That's perfect.
Have you ever made business cards? I am using Vistaprint but I am having trouble coming up with a really cool idea.
I want to use that image on the front but I don't want any words at all on the front I don't think.
If I tell you what I want on the back is that something you could do?

Good Morning!!
Zuffy, thank you very much for Wendy's tags!! She loves and appreciates them.โฅ She had sent me an email asking me to thank you since she's unable to post.
*Waves to Amy*
Rosie, I sure hope they can help Shannon. She's too young to be going through all of this. Sending hugs and prayers your way.โฅ
Peela, where are you?? Would love to hear about your trip.

Hi everyone
Shannon's appointment didn't go quite how we wanted it to. The bad news: she's at a very high risk for losing her colon. Good news: the dr sees some hope in some different treatments. We are adjusting meds to get the colon healed and then seeking the right meds to keep her healthy. We are very happy that we have chosen to see this specialist in Boston rather than staying in the "care" of the drs she's been seeing. According to those drs after her colonoscopy, she only had mild inflammation. Quite the difference in results between the 2 drs. It does not surprise me that they took the passive, conservative route as that is why she ended up where she was last year in emergency surgery! I have zero faith in them. As of now, they are just a liaison following the top specialist's orders so we don't have to go all the way to Boston every time. We asked the Dr about using supplements and he said by all means. Anything that we think will help the healing on top of the prescription meds is fine with him. So that's pretty good to hear from a Dr. He is very hopeful that the meds will calm the inflammation and heal the colon and then we will get her on a maintenance med to keep her that way. With frequent blood work checks, he will keep a close eye on the levels to see what is working for her and what's not. So we are pretty encourages that we can kick this!
I hope everyone has been having a great weekend!
