GEELONG - Grace was getting extremely excited that this coming weekend her team, GEELONG would be playing in the finals. She called Rufus & Bailey to come and sit with her then screamed out Go Cats!!!!!

GALLIVANT - There was one particular player whom she felt like telling off, though, as in the last match he’d sauntered around like a pork chop, so under her breath she muttered “Don’t you gallivant around and let down the mighty Cats!” - and by the whumphs and barks of the dogs, they agreed.

TODAY - Thursday had finally arrived.  Grace with Rufus and Bailey next to her on the couch suddenly screamed out TODAY is the day we play Port Adelaide...Go Cats!!!

YELP - Grace called her friend Michelle to come over and watch the game, and Lydia and Hugh invited themselves over as their TV was showing odd pixelation, and then Rick, Pete and Joanne texted to suggest they come over as well - oh lord! So many people, not all of whom supported Geelong, so it was no wonder that Rufus gave a yelp here and there while Bailey hid under the bed.

PARTY - As everyone was watching the footy game Grace decided to throw a small PARTY. Out came the sausage rolls, party pies some "dead horse" and of course some toys to play with. It didn`t take long for Bailey to come from under the bed and for Rufus to start wagging his tail.😀

YODEL - The funniest moment was when a goal was scored, and Hugh opened his mouth and began to yodel; Rufus and Bailey both seemed to join in and the whole group began laughing at the strange cacophony.

LOO - Everyone was laughing so much that Grace had to run to the LOO to relieve herself!

OWL - Now Michelle couldn’t resist doing her owl impression and egging on the dogs to respond - but the game was hotting up at that moment and everyone shushed her.

LAUGHING - Grace was laughing so much watching Michelle that she didn`t hear the door bell ring, when suddenly Bailey and Rufus started barking. Getting up she went to the door, opened it and saw.....

GRUNTS - Grace opened the door and saw two men in workmen’s clothing, talking in a jokey blokey way about roof repair and tree surgery, and her gut was saying “Cowboys!” so she smiled politely, took their card, gave away no information, and held back Rufus who seemed eager to bite the two men while Bailey uttered little enquiring grunts.
